Ministry of General Affairs, Department of Personnel & Organization (P&O) The Department of Personnel & Organization (P&O) is responsible for developing P&O policy proposals, supervising the implementation of existing P&O policy and supporting the government's ministries on personnel and organization matters in general. We are a department where every day brings new challenges and no two days are the same. With almost 1,500 employees within the government, the task of P&O is a dynamic one that requires our team to be professional, expert and consistent. We are currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following position: Senior Policy Officer (Senior-Beleidsmedewerker) As Senior Policy Officer you are responsible for advising on complex administrative and legal matters in the P&O field. You have a good knowledge of civil service law, labor legislation and organizational issues. Experience with drafting policy, laws and regulations, and with their application, is essential. For candidates with an organizational background we ask for thorough knowledge and experience in organizational issues, job descriptions and job evaluation, and skills in coaching and in managing and implementing policy and organizational change projects. We are looking for proactive, determined and motivated candidates with a demonstrable academic working and thinking level, who do not shy away from a challenge and have a command of both English and Dutch. Salary Depending on education and experience, the salary is a minimum of Cg 7,731.25 and a maximum of Cg 12,771.25 per month. The salary scale for this position is scale 12.
